I'll remove the pictures as there is no reason to scare others, I may only have had bad luck with an early batch

Anyway customer service offered to refund the whole set instead of replacing only the wing and mast 🙃so I'll take it and when I buy another carbon foil then I'll be able to make a good comparison 😉.

I'm sure I haven't hit the trailing edge and the mast is always protected during transport, I only hit a floating wood stick on a lake this summer but with the leading edge and it wasn't brutal as I didn't loose the flight. It resulted in a mark close to the leading edge that buffed out with a wet 2000 grit foam. Can it translate to this 6 months later I don't know ...

I can't compare with other carbon foils but coming from alloy I can feel less movement in choppy water and more control during the jibe. Regarding speed the move to this foil and it's smaller front wings allowed me to go slightly past 25kts compared to 22/23 kts with the alloy.

Hi,
I bought it directly from Zeeko. I sent back the mast and front wing. They have been really quick to answer any time I contacted them. For the wing, they offered to repair and prepare it for better performance (sand it ?) or to change it. I said I would rather take the second option. For the mast it is still in progress. The vertical scratches are just marks from the dust or sand when it is inserted in the protection sleeve, you can't feel them.

And about the new Burner front wings I find the finish quite questionable. See below the look of the leading edge of my 540 (my most used as I also have the 420 which is really small). Never hit the bottom (no scratch at all) but small, bubble like, holes appeared.

Hi everyone,
I'm a happy owner of 3 Zeeko based foils (1 alloy for wingfoil, 1 exocet alloy for windfoil and in July 2024 I upgraded to a V2 carbon for windfoil). At least I was happy until I noticed my carbon mast was starting to wear out on its trailing edge. Do you happen to have any sign of wear on yours ? I'll try to post a photo of it.
