aber manchmal ist das halt so
wenn du auf nummer sicher gehen willst tape die stelle beidseitig mit monofilmklebeband (also nicht irgendwelche pakettapes oder scheuerschutz oder so) bevor es reisst.

Pattex versteh ich nicht tbh, eher für weiches zeug wie gip etc. v.a. brauch ter ja ablüftzeit und dann ordentlich druck
Wenn ich sowas reparieren muss ( eher foilmasten) kommt die tonnenmutter raus, dann ein 12mm rundstahl, eingetrennt und poliert. die schraubenbohrung mit plastillin ausstopfen und dann epoxy, je nach spalt mehr oder weniger füllstoff. wenns gröber fehlt bisserl laminieren. nach aushärtenstahlkern und plastillin raus, seitenflächen feilen/schleifen und bohrung zart senken
12mm stahl geht z.b. m12schraube wo das gewinde nicht bis zum kopf geht, gewinde und evtl kopf wegsägen und kleine fase draufschleifen. dann aufheben fürs nächste mal
Genau das ist der Plan... die Frage wäre wegen der letzten Schicht Glasfasermatte auf dem Deck, ob die besser großzügig über den noch lackierten Bereich drübergeht oder sich auf den Bereich beschränkt wo der Lack ab ist... und da ggf. der Bereich ohne Lack noch größer gemacht werden sollte. Danke!
auf unangeschliffenem lack eird es nicht haften - aber du kannst drüberlaminieren und wenn das laminat fast hart ist mit dem cuttermesser schön schneiden
Das täuscht, das ist Schatten... Board lag heute noch ausgiebig in der Sonne, beim Schleifen sind auch ein paar Krümel vom Kern mit rausgegangen, das war auch trocken.
Bzw das sind die dunklen Stellen direkt am Riss wo ich mit dem Schleifpapier nicht gut hingekommen bin und wo entsprechend nicht geschliffen ist.
dann schleif bis zum riss oder schneide das vorsichtig mit einem scharfen cuttermesser weg etwas schräg schneiden so dass sich ein kleines V ergibt
Gleiten ist immer gleiten, egal ob windsurfen, wellenreiten, segeln, motorboot, wasserski.
Die ansätze wie man ins gleiten kommt sind natürlich etwas ander, aber nicht so sehr wie man glaubt.
Form vom unterwasser und gewichtstrimm spurst du am motorboot ebenso wie am windsurfer
Und da ist es mit dem (an)gleiten auch von vielen parametern abhängig. Länge gleitfläche, dynamicher auftrieb etc, irgendwann kommst über die bugwelle und bist im gleiten

December 10th, 2024 – World Sailing and the iQFOiL Class are pleased to announce an evolution in the iQFOiL Olympic Class equipment, designed to foster inclusivity and enhance athlete progression.
Starting in January 2025, the women’s and men’s iQFOiL fleets will adopt new sail sizes that encourage greater accessibility and smoother transitions between youth and senior categories.
Under the newly approved changes:
Women and Youth Women will transition from the 8m² sail to a 7.3m² (new design) sail.
Men will switch from the 9m² sail to an 8m² (current Women and Youth design) sail.
Both categories will adopt the existing 490 (4.90m) mast to align with the revised sail sizes.
These updates reflect a commitment to making the iQFOiL Class more inclusive for athletes of all body sizes. The new equipment supports a more level playing field, providing a competitive platform for sailors of a greater diversity of builds from different nations and continents.
The switch also aims to create a better progression for younger athletes moving up from youth to senior categories. With the new senior sails matching those used in the youth fleet, the transition will be smoother, reducing additional costs and minimizing training adjustments.
The new equipment has been tested by iQFOiL athletes and approved by World Sailing, with a focus on ensuring compliance with the highest standards of performance and reliability. Athletes will debut the updated configuration at the iQFOiL International Games in Lanzarote, taking place from January 27 to February 2, 2025, marking the first official event under the new rules.
